Job Title: Lead Server

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Server to join our front-of-house team. This role requires a high level of leadership, customer service, and teamwork. The Lead Server will assist in training and supervising the serving staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training:
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing servers on proper service techniques, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Guest Experience:
- Greet customers warmly and provide menu recommendations based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure all guest needs are met promptly and effectively throughout their dining experience.
- Service Management:
- Oversee the dining area during service hours, coordinating with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in managing server schedules and work assignments to optimize service flow.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and proactively address any issues that arise.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and beverage pairings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration:
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Act as a liaison between management and the serving staff, facilitating feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
